Merci Mamie: Traditional French Cuisine Brand & Packaging

Developed the complete brand identity and packaging for Merci Mamie — a French traditional cuisine brand under 1 Resto en + — featuring a nostalgic logo, product packaging, and nutritional labeling.

This project involved creating Merci Mamie — a brand evoking the warmth and authenticity of homemade French classics — as part of 1 Resto en +’s digital food brand portfolio. The design captures tradition while meeting modern delivery and retail standards.

My comprehensive responsibilities included:

  • Logo and Brand Identity:
    • Designed a custom logo with a nostalgic, heartfelt feel, using typography and styling that reflect heritage and homemade quality.
    • Built a full visual identity rooted in French tradition, including a cohesive color palette, typography, and brand voice.
  • Packaging and Label Design:
    • Created packaging for products like Blanquette de Veau, focusing on clarity, appetite appeal, and cultural authenticity.
    • Designed detailed nutritional and ingredient labels that are compliant, easy to read, and visually integrated within the packaging layout.
  • Brand Consistency Across Touchpoints:
    • Applied the brand identity across various packaging mockups, ensuring the look remained consistent whether viewed online or in-person.
    • Prepared print-ready files for labels and packaging, paying close attention to typographic hierarchy and legal requirements for food products.

This project demonstrates my ability to design deeply cultural and emotionally resonant food brands — complete with functional, beautiful packaging — suitable for today’s delivery-centric market.
